A Front-Desk Checklist for Celebration Practices
A Celebration practice can have scheduling software and still lose track of missing forms or unanswered confirmations. Examine one day of work before adding another tool.
Review a de-identified day
Count appointments that needed a call, a form, or a staff decision. Note what was visible in the practice system and what lived in a separate inbox or paper list.
- Who owns each unresolved item?
- Who may release an opening or contact a waitlist patient?
- Which replies need a person rather than another reminder?
Build around the next action
A useful queue shows owner, status, next action, and due time. Keep clinical details in the practice system. If one reminder and an exception list solve the problem, start there. If front desk and providers need different views, test a small portal.
Check privacy before connecting tools
Review consent, access, message content, and applicable privacy rules before using live patient information. Test with one location and a staff member who can correct errors. A preview is only a fictional example.
